Oslo will be celebrating Midsummer's Eve in style on Friday, with bonfires, great food and live music in several places along the fjord.
The celebrations are open to everyone, and all of them are free except the one at the Folk Museum.
Norwegian Folk Museum
Traditional family celebration with a "children's wedding", games and activities, concerts, barbecues, shops and cafés.
Beach celebration with a concert, open café, flower garlands and a bonfire organised by the local Polish club and others.
Midsummer at Henie Onstad Art Centre with flower garlands, live music, a bonfire, art activities and free entry to the museum between 6 and 8 pm.
Outdoor concerts and bonfire at the tip of Tjuvholmen.
