Houses` prices increased in all areas in early 2017. Over the past year, in Oslo and Barum the biggest growth in prices was observed - 21%.
Statistics Norway informed that the average prices` growth all over the country got higher by 1.9% in the first quarter of this year. Information, that is seasonally amended, demonstrated that price rising remains the firmest in urban areas.
At the time when the cost of apartments got up by 2.5% in the first quarter of the year, separate houses and cottages cost became only 1.8% higher.
Prices on houses in Akershus and Oslo soared mainly by 3.8% and 3.0% accordingly. Bergen demonstrated the lowest price soaring among the largest cities - 0.2% in the first quarter. In the northern districts of the country, prices have stayed mostly constant over the same period of time.
The lowest price increase was registered in Western Norway, with the exception of Bergen, by 1.8%.
